Welcome to the
"Sassie Lassie at Sea"
Website
This web site was set up to monitor the progress across the Atlantic of some old sea salts from Cromarty Boat Club aboard "Sassie Lassie", a 40 foot Hunter Legend.
The route will be Miami-Bermuda-Azores-Eire-Scotland.
The plan is Gywn, George, Bill and Alex board the boat on May 1st 2008, provision the boat and set sail on May 6th to Bermuda. Crew change Alex with Neil on May 16th in Bermuda then set out for Azores. It is planned to have 7 lay days in total over the course of the trip hopefully arriving in Cromarty on 30th June 2008 via east coast of Eire and the west of Scotland.
Update - 9th May 2008 : 2100 BST
Now placing updates on the NEWS page. Position being plotted on WTFAT? - May need to zoom in to see appreciable difference.
